KELLY LLOYD

Kelly Lloyd has approximately 30 years of comprehensive experience in the developing and managing of platforms supporting communication technologies. She has held various leadership roles at Sprint, Clearwire and Nextel including the design, development, planning, deployment, and operations of Telecommunications wireless networks. Kelly left the private sector and joined the Department of Commerce in 2016 where she serves as the Sr. Director of Nationwide Coverage at the FirstNet Authority.  Kelly is responsible for oversight of key network buildout functions worth over $5.5B for the first public safety nationwide interoperable network supporting First Responders.

Additionally, Kelly previously volunteered as the Director of Operations at Middle Mutts, a division of Last Chance Animal Rescue -New York, where she was responsible for creating and implementing lifesaving best practices at high kill animal shelters in NC, SC and GA. Under her three-year tenure at Middle Mutts, over $500K was raised and used toward the treatment and placement of companion animals from southern shelters to rescues and adopters along the I-95 corridor.

Kelly is a founding Noah's House Board of Directors member serving as the Board Secretary since its inception. She recently accepted the Noah's House Treasurer role due to her back office experience managing finances and oversight of complex contracts. Additionally, Kelly is intimately familiar with the disease of addiction and how it can tear families and communities apart. She has personally experienced the lasting trauma that comes with having loved ones struggle and even die from these addictions.  She recently experienced the loss of her uncle Robert who passed away last November due to complications from alcohol addiction.

Kelly works side by side with her brother John and the Noah's House team to provide access to support systems, a safe and stable environment, as well as the certain belief that people can change as long as you never give up hope.

In her spare time, Kelly enjoys playing with her two dogs, eating Baltimore blue crabs, and spending time with her family in Rehoboth DE at the beach.
